Joanne Kenna is an independent sales and marketing consultant with over 35 years of executive and managerial experience. Before starting her own practice, Joanne had a successful career with Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. She advised franchise owners and provided sales and marketing coaching to their local organizations. She’s worked in the Global Accounts division where she developed client relationships for franchisees and spent over 20 years as General Manager of the Dale Carnegie Center in New York City.
She has trained and coached over 60 global franchise organizations on short- and long-term projects including sales coaching, local marketing, recruiting, and business planning.
In 2002, Joanne developed the Carnegie Sales TeleCoach program for franchise sellers, owners, and managers. Over 200 associates participated in her program globally. Conducted via phone conference and at franchise locations, Joanne brought her experience, sales ideas, and skills that helped her build her NYC sales team as well as her own Carnegie business in Kuwait. Her sales program was offered through Carnegie University.
Since 2015, Joanne has also managed several franchises to develop business in underdeveloped locations. In 2019 Joanne created a 12 session Sales program for new hires of the Carnegie franchise network. It has been well received and continues to this day.
Corporate Experience: Joanne represented Dale Carnegie Training in Kuwait for over 8 years. She generated + $3.5M in revenues by developing key business relationships with loyal customers including Kuwait Petroleum Corporation; EQUATE Petrochemical, National Aviation Services, and Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and industry.
In the private sector, Joanne has consulted on sales and marketing projects with Tori Mor Winery, Marschallin & Sachs, Aristotle Solutions, National Aphasia Association, and William Patterson University.
